Many have made this mistake, but the circumstances of mine were particularly unfortunate. I went into a couple different businesses to do some Data Protection training (part of my job). After that, I emailed some handy decks and packs around to attendees.
The problem was, I put everyone in the same email, all from different businesses, but CC’d them in instead of BCC’d them in. This included some personal email addresses.
Just to reiterate in case you didn’t catch it – I’d just delivered training on data protection.
